Just More Pics

Love is knee deep, at least that was where my legs were.

My classic look that brings laughter to the whole family.

Shhhhhhhh... someone is sleeping...

My cup of water tastes better with orchids.

Our first outdoor bath together!

Enjoying a kiss of faith from Faith.

I thought I grew taller so why am I only 60cm now?

We are a family deeply grounded in love.

Papa is leading me the way.

My first public performance in Sch!

My first public performance in a church!

And so I heard, Sun gives out energy.
Very "Chim" Stuffs.
One of Shanghai old streets.

Notice mummy cat was below watching the safety of her kitten.

So many activities have taken place during the festive season. Gabby had so many first experiences:
i) took part in school performance,
ii) public performance in church,
iii) ate her first Crab(He Le Species from Hainan) and kept asking for more,
iv) visited the island where her great-granddad came from and ate the original Hainanese Chicken, it took me 37 years to make my first trip there, plenty of mixed feelings for me,
v) feed herself successfully using chopstick because we were too busy walking around the wide spread of buffet dishes and she was too hungry to wait for us,
vi) played at the sea and was no longer afraid of the waves,
vii) had a outdoor bath at the Yalong Bay villa where we stayed for a night,
viii) touched a squid(almost the size of her head, if not bigger),
ix) attended Alex's birthday party at MacDonald's
x) took a picture for us, unassisted.

I have also included some pics of the areas that i have visited in Shanghai old streets. Sometimes it is good to pay some attention to the surroundings and appreciate what we have. Also an opportunity to test my photography skills or the lack of it. :P

Look at my hands, they are turning blue!

Right in the middle of the lake, separate the bright from the dark.

A picture could paint a thousand words.

Continuation part 2

We had a short summer break in Singapore, Gabby went to Sentosa, the Zoo, Pasir Ris and West Coast Park and spent the remaining days eating, shopping and more eating and shopping. Before we knew it, it is time to fly back to Shanghai, our luggage were very full and I was overweight in every sense. Exciting times ahead and Gabby is going to start school!

Going to school was a big step of faith for both Gabby and us, it dawned upon me that my baby has grown into a little girl when she was in uniform for the first time! I could remember vividly her first day of school, she kept crying and crying when we were about to leave but the strange thing was once we left, she stopped crying within minutes. She is good and tugging our heartstrings!

Gabby has just traveled to Hangzhou. She was so terrified of those pumkins and masked man at the theme park ... hopefully there is no spirit of fear in her hence the title, lots of peace!

Recently Gabby has a habit of playing hide and seek. She likes to hide in the kitchen space which is a nice fit for her size. Then she likes to hide herself in our wardrobe. Today when she did not get what she wanted, she threw a small tantrum and cried her way into the wardrobe. The cry lasted only a couple of seconds and she came out running towards me, thinking I will relent. Once she realized that she could not get her way, she repeated the same and this goes on for a few rounds until my heart soften, well I didn’t want to waste the moisturizer that could be washed away by her tears.

27 Nov is the day before one of my major events and the past weeks of overdrive has weakened me. Thankfully this is also the time, Gabby has prayed for me and it is a prayer of recovery. By faith, I shall be well and tomorrow event will be a great success!
